New India Internship IIT Madras

New India Internship (Pilot) (December 10, 2024 - January 10, 2025) NIT Mizoram

Dear Students,

New India Internship (Pilot) has been approved by the office of the Prime Minister of India (PMO) and formerly, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), now Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The New India Internship (Pilot) was offered to IIT Madras students during December 2018 and 2019. Due to COVID-19, New India Internship could not be offered during 2020, 2021 and 2022.

IIT Madras recommenced the New India Internship

in December 2023 with an emphasis on the North East and began with NIT Arunachal Pradesh. During December 10, 2024 - January 10, 2025, New India Internship (Pilot) will be offered in collaboration with NIT Mizoram.
