The Student Ethics and Constitution Commission is the regulatory body of the Student Government at IIT Madras. SECC plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Students' Constitution of IIT Madras is enforced on the ground and provides channels for students to resolve conflicts, in matters under the purview of the Constitution, in a procedural manner. It equips them to formally frame and argue issues on their merits, and to seek enforceable orders.
