Dear Students,

 

The following scholarships have been approved by the Prizes and Awards Committee of the Institute. Applications are invited from the eligible students. The details of the scholarships and prizes are given below:

 

Details of Prizes & Scholarships  

 

Shankar Family Scholarship /

S. Venkitaramanan Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

·         The student should not be receving any other scholarship

·         Parents annual income should be below 8 lakhs (proof to be provided if selected)

·         CGPA should be above 7.5

·         Should have participated in sports/extra-curricular or co-curricular activities at the inter-hostel level or at Inter IIT level

·         The applicant should not have been given any punishment on disciplinary grounds.

 No of Scholarships:

         Shankar Family 3 per year – 9

        Venkitaramanan Scholarship 3 per year - 9

Kalidas Madhavpeddi Scholarship

Kalidas Madhavpeddi Scholarship is awarded to the best B. Tech Student of Civil Engineering Department based on curricular and co-curricular activities

Selection Criteria: 

·         Top three students of 3rd year B. Tech. Student of Civil Engineering Department based on CGPA at the end of 2nd year.

·         Selection of one student after assessing the below criteria.

o   The demonstrated leadership and team work.

o   Social service on camps and off campus

 

 

Malathy Veeraraghavan (MV) Undergraduate Prize

Selection Criteria:

·         For 3rd year B. Tech/Dual Degree girl student with top all round performance at the end of her 5th sem.

·         The CPGA of the recipient should be in the 20% among ALL the girl students of her corresponding year's B.Tech./Dual Degree class/batch.  

Sri K M Ramamurthi Prize

Selection Criteria: 

·         Best B.Tech student among the branches of CH, CE, ME, MM & NA on the basis of performance in the first six semesters and attainments in cultural activities, literary events, sports, good citizenship etc., in the Institute Day.
